The Golden Key is a primary on-line resource for all things related George MacDonald and home to the George MacDonald Society (publisher of the North Wind Journal) and the Wingfold Email List.

 

The Marion E. Wade Center offers a collection of resources available nowhere else in the world. They emphasize the ongoing relevance of seven British Christian authors who provide a distinctive blend of intellect, imagination, and faith: C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Dorothy L. Sayers, George MacDonald, G.K. Chesterton, Owen Barfield, and Charles Williams.

    Daniel Koehn has portrayed renowned author and story-teller George MacDonald in "George MacDonald: Faith and Obedience," a sermon presentation that brings MacDonald to life before your eyes. Daniel has also recorded "The Day Boy and the Night Girl," a MacDonald fairytale on CD.

     

    Book Publishers and Sellers

    Bookstore and online presence of Michael Phillips, the writer considered by many to be closest to MacDonald's thoughts and heart since MacDonald's own generation.  Publisher of all of MacDonald's novels, many in updated form, most recently in The Cullen Collection.  Original publisher of the collectible Sunrise Centenary Editions of MacDonald's work, which are now sold on this website.

    An experiment in creative community, the Rabbit Room, the name of the back room of the pub where the Oxford Inklings (including Lewis, Tolkien, and Charles Williams) shared their stories, is a blog, podcasts, music and book store, Rabbit Room Press, a yearly conference called Hutchmoot, The Local Show, and an office in a 150-year-old farmhouse called North Wind Manor. 

    Winged Lion Press books focus primarily on the works of George MacDonald and C.S. Lewis. Noted scholars guide readers to a greater understanding of their meanings and appreciation of the artistry of Christian mythmaking. Following the clear style of C.S. Lewis in his non-fiction, the books can be enjoyed by any adult reader with sufficient interest.
